  • Dr. Angela Tharnish

    Dr. Tharnish graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida in 2006. Prior to studying chiropractic, she attended Metropolitan State College in Denver, CO, where she majored in Human Performance and Sport, with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology. Dr. Tharnish has had rewarding practice experiences treating infants to the elderly. She focuses on active rehabilitation and exercise with her patients. She has completed comprehensive training from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego in whiplash and brain injury traumatology. This training allows her to provide top notch care for patients after an auto accident.


    She is thrilled to be entering into her 10th year at the Charleston Pain Relief Center!

  • Julianne Ingham, FNP

    Julianne Ingham, MSN, APRN, FNP-C received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from East Carolina University in 2011. She has a wide range of knowledge in multiple aspects of nursing with over 7 years of nursing experience. She has worked as an RN on a Cardiac IMC unit at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC, Adult Immunotherapy/Research Oncology at The National Institutes of Health, and Mother/Baby at The Medical University of South Carolina. While working as a nurse, she earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from Simmons College and is certified through The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her passion for holistic and natural approaches to healthcare led her to Charleston Pain Relief Center. She believes in caring for the whole body and eliminating pain at the root of the problem. Her ultimate goal is improving every patient’s quality of life so they can be their best self.

  • Dr. Carey Capell
    Dr. Carey Capell is a retired Air Force pediatrician and flight surgeon who has practiced in Charleston since 2005. He entered the Air Force after graduating from The Citadel in 1971. He received his D.O. degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine, and later received a Masters in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Preventive Medicine. Dr. Capell is interested in all forms of manipulative therapy, with special attention to craniosacral therapy. Dr. Capell is acting medical director of the Charleston Pain Relief Center, where he over sees patient treatment and medical protocols.
